I’m passionate about giving back to the rural communities that inspire my work, and I try to support causes where I can through donating my artwork.
I was honoured to donate my original artwork “Cotton Stem” to the Eleanor Bryant Memorial Fund, supporting their mission to improve access to healthcare services in rural areas. The fund was created in memory of Eleanor Jane Bryant, a much-loved rural speech therapist, and provides scholarships to students pursuing studies in allied health and early childhood, particularly those passionate about paediatrics.
Each December, I also try to donate an original artwork or fine art print to the Gunning Ladies Lunch. It’s a beautiful community event that brings women together while raising funds for breast cancer research and the Gunning Community Care facility.
I have also donated “Cotton Stem” to The Pandemonium to help support independent rural journalism and the continuation of rural storytelling.
